I'll be heading out to this one. I'm not immensely confident though. I think if we win it'll be big but if we lose it will be close.

I'll be surprised if any team wins by more than 10 points. If Canterbury can keep it close against Melbourne (without Barba) they can do the same against Manly, and coming off two straight close games where they've lost they'll definitely be up for it.

Benny seems to hit another gear at ANZ too. I like our chances but it's going to be close.

You got lucky with some late tries against Melbourne, I wouldn't be counting on that too often. Most Dogs fans I've spoken to are of the opinion that they didn't deserve such a close scoreline.

Best looking match of a pretty uninspiring round of match-ups.

Dogs to get up by 2.

He was video referee in Round 1, 2013 when Canterbury played North Queensland.

Canterbury lost 12-24.

End of.

I didn't see that game, but there's every chance he had no possible way of influencing that particular game.

I agree that it's a bit ridiculous that a player is video refereeing a match involving a bunch of blokes he probably used to play with (then again, the dogs get a whole new roster every 3 rounds so it's probably a moot point).

Does Ennis take the kicking duties in this one? Or is it Reynolds?

I'm just worried if its a 50/50 call, Patten will naturally see it through Blue and White eyes.

Well there are two video refs... But sometimes two blokes can't even get it right

You'd be correct Paullyboy - only four left from the 2010 squad - Ennis Barba Morris and Halatau. All the rest are either retired or elsewhere.

Patten isn't the one pushing buttons.

Plus its probably worse that Luke Phillips is reffing a Roosters game this weekend

I'll reserve my criticisms of Patten being in the box until after the game if Manly lose.
