All turned on that terrible obstruction "non-call". No doubt someone will say that the dogs won by 8 so it didn't matter, but I think the Warriors could have held on if they hasn't been robbed by the ref.

Didn't see the Tiges/Sharks game last night, but the refs appear to have brought their poor form from last week into this week.
sort of like the non call on manus forward pass leading to a try :)

That was no obstruction, correct call. Johnson made the decision to tackle the decoy runner and then also fell over. In round 1 it would have been obstruction but currently it's not.

Its like we're trying to defend the lead and shut up shop. To scared to continue with same style of play that got them that 16 point lead. Mateo had good 1st 31mins then subbed off n not back on n 59th minute. He is our only foward with flare. Lowrie n mannering don't have it. Neither does Taylor the numpty who pretth much played the last 50mins until subbed off at end. Elliott is a f**k. F**king frustrated right now. I could go on all bloody night.

Does anybody know the rules in relation to the marker's access to the dummy half? At what point are you allowed to touch him/hit the ball out of his hands? Mannering hit Ennis' hands and the ball came loose, I didn't see why it was a a penaly/

With both teams coming off wins and expected dry weather latter half of the week (according to metservice when I checked late yesterday), there's possibility of decent walkup crowd for this one.

Would love to see Warriors win to break the Wellington hoodoo but because I'll be there live they'll probably lose. Hoping they at least stay competitive right to the final whistle, these consecutive last 10min brainfades are getting tiresome...

Damn I was right on all counts, awesome crowd, competitive till last 10 and lost cos I was there live....

And despite the commentators they're too small a team

This. We only looked in it when our two biggest guys were on and their two biggest guys were off.

At a few stwges there we only had one ptop on the field. Fudge Packer came off after 20mins n Taylor went on. What's with that. Happened mid 2nd half as well.

The defense should not have to make a call on whether to tackle a decoy or not when a player takes the ball on the inside shoulder of the decoy runner. Is a clear cut obstruction play every day of the week.

Good second 40 from Dogs. Tolman, Kasiano, Ennis and Graham kept us rolling forward and played some great D in the second. Good to see. Awesome crowd too.

Don't worry my multi is still going now...if Broncos win I'll send you a cyber beer

You poor bastard.

I had money on Dogs too in my multi, but stayed away from Broncos game and put the last leg on Storm 13+... hopefully!

Having looked a it again, I think you're probably right, it does look like Barba received the ball just before he ran behind the decoy runner.

I think half the problem is the lack of a true on field leader out there, someone like a Steve Price

Agree..I have always questioned why Mannering has been their leader. Too quiet and does not seem to instil a lot of confidence from his demeanour.

Also...Friend and Lowrie are one dimensional and slow and are dud signings.

Where is Neilsen as well ?.
