Listening on the radio and one of the guys on the panel is saying that the Storm are getting blatant favoritism from the refs.

Is it really that bad?

Yes they are. Getting away with murder, sure they have players who outclass Penriths players but Penrith are trying their butts out however every 50/50 call has gone to the Storm. Boils ya blood seeing such favouritism.

Knock on missed, amazing what the storm get away with.

I think it's a problem with referee attitudes. That ref last week that didn't bother checking the SBW try because he thinks he's a good player reveals a problem, imo. Consciously or not, they are biased towards teams they think are winners, and don't pull them up on things. Melbourne have a reputation as class footballers (which they mostly are), and therefore refs don't look for errors.

I'm not super dirty about it because as demonstrated with the SBW try they are often right, but it has the potential to be a real problem and no one really talks about it.
