call me unpatriotic, but i am so over the sentimentality of the national anthems. if we held a poll of all those attending and watching, i wonder how many would opt out of having anthems played before a game rather than just have the action start.

Hard to argue with it in an international, whats weird is the national anthem before origin, its like "take it easy fellas, we're all friends here", just makes no sense before origin. Here I don't mind it (despite how much ours sucks).
