No suprise Sharkies & Roosters going well. Titans and Bronocos in a tight one. Poor Copley's done his knee. Looks like Kemp will get some game time. Sounds like Dragons did alright against a very good Cowboys. Might of misjudged the Dragons, if they can go alright against Cowboys they might be alright. Tigers might be a better then expected especially if Benji sorted his crap. Though it was against spooners.
Meanwhile in Campbelltown, the Eels looked every bit as disjointed as at their lowest ebb in 2012 and must be wondering how much off-contract star Jarryd Hayne, who was rested, will be able to fix when he returns.
Parramatta, in their first near full-strength hitout under Stuart, were missing just Hayne and back-rowers Ben Smith (knee) and Reni Maitua (suspension), but were completely outclassed by the crisp Tigers.
Eels coach Ricky Stuart admitted there would be tough times ahead for the Eels but refused to unload on his team, saying he would continue to show patience in the new group.
So thorough was the mauling, Marshall and Tigers captain Robbie Farah were given early showers after giving Parramatta a bath, with new coach Mick Potter dragging them from the field with half an hour to go.
