England killed them up front for the most part but little to show for it. I can see guys like Johnson and Luke winning it for England.

Widdop, Tomkins, Sinfield and Charnley are also playing quite well. Poms containing Luke well, and limiting sonny bills impact. Whether they will keep this intensity up on the second half will be interesting.

S Burgess easily best player on the field in that 1st half. He was immense.

That gong goes to Graham. Absolutely dominated.

In saying that I can't think of a bad player for either side, with most playing out of their skin.

A deserving semi final

Great first half.

Cudjoe has been a bit slow on a couple of occasions though. I think Watkins has Goodwins number all day long and that's a matchup we need to isolate more IMO as the second half goes on.

Let's hope the second half delivers, what a great game. Sam Burgess has been immense, no question best on field imo.

England's pack on top but poor use of some great positions by Cudjoe has limited the damage.
A piece of magic by Whare and RTS has offered NZ something from the first half

How does video ref get involved for the knock on/strip to reverse call, yet no involvement for the kick back rather than a knock on we saw 3 times on replay????
Good game, NZ kicking game needs improvement giving England to much field position.

Chompy has the edge on Burgess, barely. Setting up the try outs him ahead, but both are huge.

Burgess has had more impact imo. The main reason i give him the edge though is that NZ have clearly come out to try and rush up and shut burgess down and he has made his impact regardless.
