explain to your friend taht your really love your girlfriend and that you dont want to ruin your relationship with her (your friend) because you love having her as a friend but make sure she knows that you dont want to take things any further and that your commited to your girlfriend.

Does this friend know that you have a gf? If so, just be honest with her. If she is a good friend then she should respect that and just continue on with the friendship.

I took my gf to the christmas party so she should know. Besides i have mentioned i have a gf many times before. I was been pressured alot by people alot, people who know i have a gf which makes me angry. Pressured as in "why don't you talk to her" "ask her for her phone number" etc. I am worried that these people will go 'sour' on me when i say no. I plan to end it tommorow but i'm hoping there isn't to much of a backlash. Some girls are just nasty.

Oh gosh, I hate that. Look, you're committed to your gf and that is all that matters. People pressuring you to ask for this girls number are just out for entertainment in a way. You're doing the right thing, some guys I know wouldn't even try to stop the female friend from becoming closer to them.

Yeah, girls are nasty, look at me! I am a perfect example of it! :D

Tell her the only way that you can love her is as friends, and if she can't handle that, well it isn't your fault...

hrmm, on second thoughts, don't listen to any advise I have to give, cause I suck at advise!

I won't even say what I would say if it was me... oh wait, I have been in the same situation, and I told the person to get f$%^&*ed... and they still talk to me, which is kinda strange
