its only for the eastern terrace and only a few bucks of the normal price in any case, they certainly have gone all out to assure we get a packed gate :sarcasm:

gee, $14 dollars !! what a discount!

^^Suity, parra should have done the same to ensure a sell out crowd for his last home game.

Cayless should have retired last year. Great clubman & great person however this year he showed that he's too slow. Need front rowers with good leg speed. Poore & Mannah to be the starting props next year with Fui & whoever else coming on to make some impact off the bench.

I will be there, as per usual. But I am sick of the attitude that we or anyone owes him anything, he got his pay into his account once a month.

We do owe him something. He didn't have to play in last years grandfinal yet he chose to do so regardless of the fact that he was injured. He would have got his paycheck anyway, but he stepped up as captain and did us proud. There was many things he didn't have to do, that he was't paid for, yet he chose to do them. I dont know about you, but i feel like we owe him a great send off as that is exactly what he, as a club legend, deserves.

Cayless may not of had to play in that game, but he bloody wanted to. Nothing would have stopped him from playing that game. Not one thing.

Even $5 or $10 tickets would probably guarantee a bigger crowd Saturday.

In saying that, it could be said that Melbourne fans paying $1 a ticket is $1 too much.

Exactly. It's moments like those that remind me what a great captain he is. I grew up with him as parras captain and over the years ive seen the things he's done for our team and i can't think of anyone else who bleeds blue and gold as much as he does!

Rubbish, if anything he owes me.

No-one owes him anything. But you'd like to think any Parramatta supporter would attend solely just to farewell one of our most legendary players.

Gee, i hope they don't charge $1 per game when it comes times for Hindy to retire... each ticket will cost approx $300!

Anyway, it's a good promotion by the club to try and get casual supporters to turn up and cheer Captain Cayless off. Even if we get beaten, Stick around and cheer him on when he does his lap of honour. It will be something that you will remember for a long time.

I would prefer if people like SDM never showed up for the game, Cayless deserves true supporters who want to thank him for his loyalty and leadership not fair weather fans or people who just turn up because it's $1

Too bad moron, I have to turn up as part of my lifelong debt to Nathan Cayless. I contacted the club last night and they have set up a direct debit where I pay him weekly to try and make up for how grateful I am that he was payed to play footy, Even the part where he led by example in the footy team with the worst attitude in the last 15 years.
