Why's that?

They are 1 of the cellar dwellers from last year, do you think the game is going to be much different to 13 a side or has their squad markedly improved?

Idk. This is the hardest pool to pick none are real attacking team but tigers have good young backs who will carve up in space the 9's bring. But after seeing the knights side im changing my mind to them to win this pool

Very strong squad for the Knights.

Cartwright was on the radio yesterday morning & after their trial V the Warriors this weekend, is going to select his best squad of available players.

Good to hear for the tournament, not so for my team progressing.

Will this be broadcast on any radio station? I am hoping so as I will be traveling to Sydney during the first few matches.

Think this could be the strongest group. Sharks and knights have sent their strongest possible squads. Both titans and tigers could have claims to the fastest back lines in the comp. I think the sharks will be the weaker team but it's impossible to know how 9 a side league will be played.

It's a shame mick Gordon's not playing, he would absolutely carve up in this...so actually I'm glad he isn't LOL

Seems to break the first tackle just about every time and has speed.
I reckon he would be one of the most suited players for 9s.

Titans remaining in NZ after their trial. They'll have plenty of time to prepare for the 9s.
