I suspect Moylan missed the kick on purpose to avoid extra time and the chance of the Rabbitohs getting more than 3 points ahead.

Fulltime South bt Penrith but Penrith finish on top of the pool by for/against differential ahead of Souths by one point.

You think any players out there were doing the maths in their head? I'm sure Rabbitohs would have gone for a more risky last play if they realised it was affecting the table

I'm sure the Souths trainers were too dumb to realise they needed a try and to inform the team but that last kick by the panthers was a clear deliberate shank

Well, maybe not all teams are created equal in the thought department.

Or maybe the Rabbitohs don't care about facing the Warriors (after all, if the Panthers get through, they will have to play the Warriors in the semis anyway).

If Souths adopt the kicking game like they did against the Panthers,they'll be in with a big chance against the Warriors.
