Big League called this a great opener to Monday Night Footy: someone was drinking at the time.

Good win to the Gold Coast. I keep my 1-12 margin win (3/4 from to open the round) and take 5/8 for the opening round which should put me in good stead (why oh why did I pick Tigers?). I liked Graham for Cronulla, Seizer and Zillman were good for the Titans. Kelly was at times though overplayed his hand a little.

Terrible, terrible play.

Titans couldn't wrap it up properly, Sharks just wanted to cart it up with a few seconds to go and down by 6.

Titans won't beat many teams if that is their standard.

Sharks now missing Gallen and Fifita for a few weeks by the look of it, they'd better get some players back next week or they'll look just as rubbish again.

Sharks v Dogs next week could be a 2-0 victory to one of the sides, so special is their attack at the moment.

As per half-time observation; you get the feeling it will be a long season on and off the field again for Cronulla. That aside, they should still pick up a Top 8 spot. Love the fight at the club.

Fifita is a great player, but we showed tonight that you need a spine to take advantage of great forwards, and the $800k region being mentioned for him to either stay with us or join the Dogs, both teams that really need more spark and are fine with muscle, is just crazy.

Dogs and Sharks both looked pretty clueless, and Fifita isn't able to fix that.
