Really satisfying result. I've given the team some flak over the past few weeks but they played really well against a below par Manly and they deserve some praise.

Honestly thought Manly would shit this game in, typical Broncos bipolar performance of the good kind.

If there is any truth in the Watmough talk they had better squash it soon. It isn't just the hard metres we were missing out there. He was badly needed in D as well. While the Right side will improve when Lyon is actually fit, the hole in the line left by Watmough was far more concerning.

I've been mindful of our position on the ladder so far. We have had a lot of home games, and will need to find ways to win away from home. This game wasn't what I was hoping to see. There were moments it was like the Tigers game earlier this year. We are a long way off our best, and will need our best to be any chance of pushing hard for a title this year.

Broncos have a good set up with Hodges and Copley. Let the old man play origin and let the young bloke carve up in the centres in the nrl. He's very impressive IMO.

Not sure that any Manly player really had a good game, Ballin was his usual hard working self, Foran tried to no avail and Matai was good in patches. Too many errors and not enough meters up the middle. On the other side, very few below par performances from the Broncos, a thoroughly deserved win.

Broncos were impressive, surprised me a little. Manly were not the Manly side we're used to. A few players out but expected more of them. Copley is a good player and Gus saying he'll end up in the forwards is garbage, his best position is centre although he will probably have to do with playing on the wing a bit more. Hunt played well, in fact I couldn't pick a bad player for the Broncos.

HOPEFULLY, we're starting to hit our straps now. Top 4 may be out of the equation but finals are well and truly in our sights if we can maintain this form and consistency through the Origin period.
