We had Edwards as the hooker v chooks which was a very unusual choice. Started OK but his service couldn't get the forwards going

Yeh i know i'm just saying that hopefully Kelly has some quicker service out of dummy half than Edwards. Maybe Arthur was hoping his defence (Edwards) was going to matter

I think the reason he out Edwards at hooker is because it was round 2, and with Pritchard injured, Arthur was reluctant to dip into our second tier cap so early in the season to pluck a replacement out, and for a mere single game, at that.

Kelly is ok. Nothing special, but I'm sure he will be solid.

But Matt Keating was solid...

But people are underestimating just how TRAGIC the Cows are away from home. They flat out don't turn up in Sydney.

And Pirtek is a very tough place to play on a Friday night when the Eels are humming along well.

A lot of folk here don't rate Lussick (I do), but Peats is an enormous loss. He's out, our next choice in Pritchard is out, Docker-Clay is not ready yet and we have no choice but to play Kelly there. And Luke Plodlly is just...

I think without Peats, it will all be on Hayne to spark us. He sure is up to it, but it's terrible having to play without your two first choice hookers.

Going to be a wet game tomorrow night, it seems.
This pushes the odds well into the Cowboys' favour. Pretty much all of our potency comes from our backline and a wet track will keep that potency down. Having to rely on our forward pack will be a disaster - they are soft at the best of times, let alone without Peats on a wet night against the awesome Cowboys pack.
