We just went off the boil after about 25 mins for some reason and never recovered. Good win by Manly, better side for most of the match and well deserved

Just one of those nights where certain plays didn't come off. Started strongly but faded away then got far enough behind through some shoddy defence - then tried trick shots on the left edge which never came off. Nervously optimistic about next week.

On a side note (can't lose without a ref whinge) - were Manly playing NFL in the first half? About 10 quite clear forward passes completely missed. Mightn't have changed the result but FMD the touchies do nothing.

Forward passes were missed both ways Tim.

I was screaming at the TV bout the Doggies ones.

You mean like Ennis throwing 80% of his passes forward? Manly were better than the Dogs in this regard! Hate forward passes and I wish every one of them was pulled up but please, the Dogs were getting away with more, not to mention the forwards having a snoozy nap in the ruck and not being pinned!
