That's a shame. I thought 24-0 flattered us, and was thinking that was a good result. 30-0 is a bit closer to the difference between the two teams.

And I reckon that Dragons outfit is pretty poor. Says plenty about the Sharks.

Gagan (despite some errors) and Brown were OK, so that's a positive I suppose. Gordon didn't look terrible at centre. The few remaining first graders in the squad had poor games, not leading by example at all.

Hard to judge Dragons from this, but it was encouraging to see Marshall and Dugan play well. Thompson was made to look like a star as well. Widdop actually is good, but looked it as well.

That game was pedestrian. The only things I can take from this are our backline is standing deeper in attack and somehow we managed to hold a reserve grade side to 0.

11 injured players speaks to the quality of coaching. The team clearly isn't conditioned to compete at NRL intensity football, hence the injuries
