Is it me or are there more concussions since the start of the year?

Some guys seemingly chronically concussed. Fulton, Picker, Edwards etc.

No it just shows how little attention we had been paying to it... Which is worrying. A concussion or two a game seems to be the norm. How many years have we just told players to push through that? :?

Souffs are getting the rub of the green against a pretty ordinary side and they're still only 12 in front. They have been average for 3 straight rounds.

The forwards haven't been too bad. We've been rucking it from our try line everytime

The backs have been doing the stupid shit like going over the sideline

Richards didn't finish a backline move properly

Anasta f**ked everything up, since that dropout we've been camped in our own end

Tigers got to lift second half, Tedesco has been very quiet, Souths don't look anything special but at least not making dumb mistakes

Tedesco has had very little opportunity to get the ball.

The Tigers gameplan is Anasta controls the first three tackles and then Brooks tries to score on 4 and 5 and all Anasta does is turn it in for a shitty hit up or tell a forward to take it from the dummy half, and all Brooks has is shape to the left and either throw it randomly out that way and hope one Sironen or Lawrence is running a good line, or grubber against the grain for Tedesco. The Tigers attack is extremely predictable if there isn't someone being creative out of dummy half. Brooks needs to add a lot more combinations for mine. He really seems to only want to play on the left...

Come to think of it maybe that's why Brooks put that stupid kick in, he got the ball so he thought it was tackle five...

1. Kidwell needs to be screaming at our forwards right now to get extremely physical. It's the only way to beat Souths. If the Burgii feel that they're on top, they are.
2. Anasta needs to be sat down.
3. If they actually know how to get quality ball to the right side now is the time. Simona has touched the ball about four times and despite getting tossed over the sideline actually looked good with it and Nofoaluma has been one of the only players to make Souths look frail.
4. Seriously why do we keep going down the left? Sironen looks completely overwhelmed and out of sync, Lawrence is totally past it, Richards is slow. On the other side Thompson, Simona and Nofoaluma have all looked threatening. GO TO THE OTHER SIDE OF THE FIELD FFS.

Regarding point 4, isn't Anasta on the right usually? Probably why they keep going left

Tigers need to cut out the dumb errors and run the Souffs forwards around... 12 points is very gettable for the tigers

Curious question, why do some teams get byes during Origin and other teams (like the Tigers) have to play 3 games without their Origin players? Seems pretty bullshit.

In fact Manly only have to play once without Origin players. I don't understand how this isn't balanced in the draw.

Austin's service to brooks was very poor when he came on, Luani was better but he doesn't engage the markers. I'd be bringing halatau on a 9, pissing Anasta off and Austin to 6.

We looked good in the first 7 minutes, souths did well to hold us out. We just looked buggered and directionless when we had the ball after that. Farah is to us what thurston/Hayne/smith are to their sides...maybe even more so

Anasta gets his hands on the ball enough, he just never does anything with it. He turns it back in for a forward. Simona and Nofoaluma NEVER GET THE BALL. These two were responsible for the two tries of the season last year, they both carved up big time.

tigers traditionally haven't been a side that gets affected as much as others.

We will usually draw Canberra or the warriors and never seem to get teams more effected then us like Melbourne

This Tigers side doesn't have a try in them that doesn't involve a Souths screw up. I'm sorry but they have no plays without the dummy half creating it.

Teams request when they get byes, I believe the NRL are pretty good with giving teams the games off they want at origin time. There's been times over the years when there's only been 4 games on a weekend due to this. Wouldn't surprise me if we asked for the weeks off after origin.

Ah fair enough, thanks mate.

If that's the case, then we are ridiculous.

There's a real possibility we'll go 0/3 during Origin games, all because we are missing Farah.

If your team misses only one player due to origin they probably want to take their chances. Could be against the Storm instead for example.
