To be fair it was a makeshift pairing. He would do better with preparation

I don't rate him highly in general though so I'd rather he not play centre

If worse comes to worse i think we could shift McQueen or Turner there.

Losing Inglis and not having Walker or McQueen stuffed us up last game, we got the first try in 5 minutes without any effort, then Inglis injury happens and our backline shifts with Lowe being exposed on the right.

McQueen will probably be playing State of Origin

Sironen is a big in for us, particularly with Paterson, Fulton and gavet injured.

Souths have their 6/7/9 while the tigers have their 1/6/7

If the tigers forwards can match souths I think we have more points in our backline, however the starting burgi and Isaac Luke are the 3 world class players in this game.

It's a genuinely massive game for wests. If we win we'll be on 20 points at the end of next week and probably only needing to win 4-5 of our last 11 to make the 8. 7 of our last 11 are home games and 1 of the away games is at homebush anyway.

Even so I'll tip souths in a close low scoring game

Would be hoping the 3 Burgi do too much through the middle to let them in. But a lot of outs means this is very unpredictable.

Interesting that Sam burgess has been named at second row. I'd imagine they'll park him on the right running straight at brooks. Good in theory however he'll have Reynolds feeding him meaning it will be low quality ball.

Hope Sam Burgess repeatedly steamrolls Brooks as payback for his Squeak "Little Bitch" Scolari carry on of last time we played each other.

It would be like burgess to fire up at the smallest bloke on the field when half the tigers pack is missing

lol 1
Souths have as many missing forwards due to Origin as do the Tigers.
lol 2
Burgess has been firing up every game this year , big or small blokes.
lol 3
if the Tigers have small blokes that should be protected, they should not be playing.
There are no
"sad excuses" for all the traffic aimed at Reynolds.

Fact 4 , Tigers are a chance if Souths play "fumble" ball like they did last time they played the Tigers. The only reason Souths lost the last game was because Souths beat themselves with their "fumbles" .

If Souths control the ball when they have possession ,they will win against the Tigers this friday.i.e. as a minimum even ball possession , Souths win.

The tigers have a heap of forwards injured, however souths have a heap of backs injured

Lol 2

That's nice, glad to see a 115kg forward is firing up

Lol 3

All teams have small Players that need protection

Fact 4

The tigers forwards completely dominated the much hyped souths pack which allowed brooks and tedesco to run riot. The bunnies couldn't handle it which resulted in them producing one ofthe cheapest grubbiest performances from a team I have EVER seen

Neither team have any excuses if they lose.

As a Souths supporter I will also state that it was one of the dumbest performances we have put in.

The Tigers played rope a dope with their niggling tactics and Sam Burgess and others fell for it hook line and sinker.

To his credit Burgess has cut out the grubby rubbish and has concentrated on just playing football and as a result has been outstanding in most games since then.

Tigers look to have way too much speed and strike power in the backs and I think they will get the points.

Amazingly we have basically the same squad/issues as last time against the Tigers, our xfactors Inglis and Walker out, no McQueen to cover the back injuries so we will be using a makeshift backrower there - and we will have to use Tuqiri because of injuries in the back line

Tigers basically don't have to change their gameplan at all
