Before this year I'm sure you couldn't even remember when your clusterf**k of a club won a game anywhere, let alone in melbourne.

Mate we have only won 9 games prior to 2014 in the previous 2 years combined. I'm sure we remember. Not much to choose from

Smith will back up

Don't think slater will as he wasn't playing prior to Origin and is still touch and go

Hayne might play as its a Sunday game and Hoppa will probably play

Good chance to get a win

Just need to get over the winning away shit

Last won in Melbourne 16/04/2005 26-14.
If Hayne and Hoppa back up , even allowing for Smith,Slater and Hoffman, I think the boys are confident enough to defend better than they have down there in the past nine years and the attack will see them through.

I'm surprised Bellamy has dropped Kurt Mann. He's been decent where as Fonua is pretty abject.

Also amazed at Chambers recovery. He must have been a bit of a drama queen if his leg has recovered so quickly when he reacted like it had been chopped off.

Chambers is playing on one leg...no problems.

Whats the latest? is Kurt Mann likely to get a late call up? seems odd to drop him and persist with Fonua

I can't see the Eels winning here, for them it's Hayne or bust (has been all year)

I reckon storm to cover the 4 point line, Eels away form has been very ordinary

Big game. Not confident. We still have wobbly legs away from home and haven't won in Melbourne in something like 10 years.

Then again, Melbourne's halfback is Ben Roberts. So.....
