That's Ok! We are sure you were happy with the standard of the refereeing, which was pretty one sided.Seems to be the way when you play in Mexico, don't forget what the score as when the inept pelicans made sure by sending a player to the bin

I will watch with interest your comments when for a change the Storm cop the sort of display we saw today, mind you it was the best Storm game as well

?ou are a merkin.... I already said the refs weren't great this game..... But the dud calls went both ways. The storm simply took better advantage of the penalties they got.

Back to th refereeing, had a call from a sensible Broncos supporter (yes, there is one) in Qld too... His comment was that the Storm twist, lay over the player and get away with it as the refs don't want a delayed game. They panic when the other side even goes close to the same tactic, and this ensues the terrible decisions

It was one of the most obvious home town displays, and nothing will be done about it, it was awful today ... And probably the scum would have still won, but it would have been a better game.

Imagine if Toovey had experienced it, fun times then

Read this post & others before re-watching the game & gotta say mate, Storm were no slower getting off the player than the Eels. Specifically watched this & Eels players lay on players & deliberately tried to slow the quick play the ball as many, if not more, than the Storm players did...BA is a student of CB don't forget. Storm just do it more effectively.

Aside from that, has the 3-second rule changed? Penalty for any deliberate laying on players after that is fair.

As for refereeing decisions changing the momentum/ outcome of the game...all games have moments when that appears to happen but generally it is how teams react to decisions that determine whether the outcome is affected - sloppy play, ill-discipline, giving into frustration etc turns a game.
Storm played well, Eels poorly...no refereeing decisions changed that.

thought the Storm's pack was dominant.

Eels let in a couple of really really soft tries in the first half, and it came back to bite them in the 2nd.
I agree with those who said the refereeing was poor - it seemed to favour the Storm in all the key moments, especially when the Eels were trying to sneak back into the game. A few bad calls in a row went against them, and the Storm took full advantage.

Full marks to the Storm, well played, but hope you guys fail to make the 8, and the Eels sneak in instead!
