Gould is an idiot. I'm sure he'd be REAL happy if a Penriff player were getting held back.

Since it isn't his club "that's footy" though. FFS.

Good win. Attack fell flat in the second and we should have wrapped it up well and truly but our D was excellent.

Far from a wooden spoon side.

Gagai probably should've let go of the Parramatta player if he wanted the no try then

Despite Gus' hilarious bias, this does not matter at all (or shouldn't have). In what world does this give the attacker right to hold a defender back?

I thought it was probably no try, I just think it's a bit hard to claim you're being held out of it in defence when you also have a firm grip on another player, not letting him near the ball, and keeping himself out of the defence anyway.

If he didn't have a grip on the parra guy you'd straight away blow no try, that he also had a grip on the parra player put it into the grey area catagory and when it's been awarded try when sent upstairs enough to see the original decision remain.

IMO, anyway.

The player was in front of the ball and out of play though. Had the attacker been getting the ball instead of having just passed it, Gagai would have been penalised for his efforts. It's mind-boggling that the reverse situation isn't treated in the same manner.

Oh well, what's done is done, but it was a pretty bad call imo.

They just replayed the Radradra incident again too... he clearly put that dead and should have been a drop-out, as I thought at the time.

If you were a recruitment manager and were in a situation were you had to decide between signing Corey Norman or Tim Moltzen who would you sign?
Id have to go Moltz. To call Corey Norman dogshit average would be offensive to dog shit.

If Gagai wanted to try to get across he would not have held on to Edwards...

When i first saw it i thought penalty but second look he held on too so no way was it..

These Sunday later game day threads never get much attention. Nobody knows whether to discuss the action as it happens live or as it happens delayed on TV.

Lol @ how often Ray Warren confuses players names. It's a disgrace.
and bordering on racist as well. often the players he calls wrong have a different coloured skin to him. if he earned his large wage and spent some of his week watching the other games on fox, he would much easier pick differences in the way players run, etc. Its easy enough if you are a fan and see young players come through. you dont need binoculars at the ground to tell who they are.
