Commentators are having a good old time ragging on Pearce/Praising Wade Graham's impersonation skills.

How was that the right call. Nobody was obstructed. How can you be penalized for an obstruction when nobody was obstructed????

I said I thought Maloney while he wasn't physically taken out he was impeded in his decision making for a split second which allows the Sharks to get on the outside.

You don't have to agree with me. That is just how I saw it.

Now all the Sharks need is for Carney to convince the mean old NRL CEO to reinstate him by winning a series of physical and emotional challenges in a competition format against Steve Noyce just in time for him to show up at half time while the Sharks players are in the locker room with their heads down and the new fill in coach is trying but failing to encourage them and say something witty to cause the locker room to explode in jubilation, oh and Smith and Noyce are so impressed they change the rules so that he can play despite not being named to play at the beginning of the game. #plotofalladamsandlermovies

Though that interpretation is fair, there should be a lot more onbstructions if they want to penalise for affecting decision making, which they don't and leads to people arcing up when calls go differently against their team. Physical impeding is a bit more cut and dry, Maloney still did make it to tackle Wright so it could have gone either way.

That is the thing, it is so grey. The commentators whinged that the same thing happened a few minutes later but on that occasion I thought it was fine. I just think teams run into problems when forwards just stand there in the attacking line.
