What soward wasnt really injured? Who'd have guessed...

Are you suggesting he sat out the second half last week for some reason other than injury? Why would any player do that?

However my point was that Soward is still close to the biggest cat in the game.

I was reading old posts in the Dragons forum. They say you eventually get to enjoy the way other team's supporters despise the little bloke.

Is that the same Matt Lodge who was signed from the Panthers under 20's to Melbourne?

If it was,he was a very promising young player,so I wonder why he went to the Tiges as Melbourne shelled a lot of coin for him?

Penrith have had a couple of props go to other clubs before they made grade as Matt Lodge was one,and the two were the Vave brothers.

One ended up at the Sharks, and I don't know what happened to the other.

You have to wonder why they've preferred this young fellow over the more experienced Austin.

Confirmed Mitch Moses will start at fullback. Akauloa drops out and Austin to the bench. Seems Matt lodge will take jack bunchans place on the bench too

Whilst I agree with you

Moses has played a bit of fullback in NYC and nsw cup this year. He is an electric runner and has a good passing game. Potter is looking for points. We average 8 points a game without farah.

Plus Austin has been pretty impressive coming off the bench at hooker.

I was much more confident of a win with Austin at fullback then I am with the Tigers blooding Moses. Rookies tend to do well on debut against us, and I swear rookie fullbacks tend to have better debuts then other positions.

Panthers last two rookie fullbacks were Coote and Moylan. Both MOTM on debut.

Plum out-Cartwright on the bench.
Ivan Cleary has decided to move Lewis Brown into the starting front row for today's match against Wests Tigers, which means Sika Manu will drop to the bench.

Nigel Plum is being rested, so Bryce Cartwright will round out the bench.

4.Jamal IDRIS

5.Kevin NAIQAMA

6.Jamie SOWARD

In the NYC,the Tigers defeat the Panthers 30 points to 18.

Have to give them at least one win for the day.
