Great game of finish, wonderful finish by the Chooks who won on the back of their superior structures.

Hurts as a Broncos fan but that's apart of being a fan.

Thaiday went in bad for a second time and came out of it bad.

Broncos need to be asked a few questions.

As I say this, Roosters score for the win.

What are they supposed to do when the ref doesn't even acknowledge it, he was out clean the second time and the ref should have stopped play so the trainers could at least assess him, it's pathetic and dangerous.

Ref should have stopped play when thaiday was knocked out and still in play, it put the broncos at disadvantage with a man caught short on their line.

Unless the player is directly in the way of the play, it's up to a trainer to get the attention of the ref and all for time off.
The Tigers got a try scored against them in similar style in round 1.

Roosters should've been without a player for at least ten minutes in that match. Broncos shouldn't have fallen for the short kick-off to let them back in the game.

Thaiday should've gotten back in the line instead of lying down.

All games have their shouldn`ts and should`ves

Minichello should have definitely been binned and I believe Maloney gave away a pretty obvious professional foul after Barba picked up mini's scraps and created a break. Oh well

great game, what do the roosters have to do to get players sin binned? How many professional fouls after breaks and half breaks tonight by them? Everyone knows they do it deliberately because they get away with it week in week out.

How happy are they about a last minute loss??
Very confusing to watch the Broncos lap of ..... losing?

What are you talking about?

They stopped the game when he was knocked out, they had every opportunity to take him off. They didn't and it was this error in judgement that led to Thaiday making a clearly dazed tackle that led to him staying down again.

He should never of been making that second tackle to begin with.

We went toe to toe with the defending premiers and were unlucky to lose, sucks to lose that way but we're in for a good season

Lots of ifs and buts.

Take away those moments and in the end, it was the Roosters tried and true structures that were the difference. Brisbane had plenty of opportunities but couldn't get the job done. It's to be expected though, the Roosters are the defending premiers while the Broncos are coming off their worst ever season.

Still, plenty of good signs for the Broncos and if they can dust themselves off they're completely capable of surprising a lot of pundits. Very proud of that effort from the boys tonight.

We might have lost but if that doesn't convince people that they should take us very seriously this year, nothing will.
