The Tigers are certainly worth watching every week this year. Their forward pack is now a lot bigger than the cliched people suggest.

I think the Tigers will give us a game, but ultimately we'll get up by 2-3 tries.

I just can't see them being able to handle George, Sam, Te'o & Issac through the middle. You'd have to think Brooks will be having nightmares about the Burgii after this game. If he missed 10 tackles against the Dragons pack, I don't predict great things for him defensively tonight.

I like the look of the Tigers young blokes and the way they play footy but I think tonight is a step too far.

Chris McQueen and Dylan Walker both out apparently. Souths 1-12

McQueen is definitely a loss, however walker being out allows sutton to go back to 5/8 which is good for souths IMO. It gives them extra size across the park and sutton ALWAYS has good games against us.

No offence but I was looking forward to seeing Walker testing himself in a less competitive game (compared to last years top two playing injured).

Sutton needs to stick it out in the forwards too and get used to the grind. If these two aren't used to playing by the end of the season in their positions we won't go far into the post season

But its probably better Walker rests up his ankle. His lateral movement was f**ked last week, Buhrer really honed in on him and made him looks silly at a few points

We play the Raiders and Dragons too over the next few weeks so hopefully he is back by then. We don't get a training run against the Eels until round 19

10000's to Lidcombe for a change to Olympic park . Doesnt add much more to to trip , you can even drop in an have a beer at the Lidcombe Hotel with W4E

Would be nice to see Tedesco and Brooks blow Souths away but I can't see it happen. I also can't see Souths blowing Tigers away. A lot of concerns came out of the Manly game and it shows that a brilliant half can create nightmares for Souths. If Brooks can do that, then I can't see a reason why Wests can't come close, perhaps even cause quite a monumental upset.

If only they had a pack to stand up to theirs. It will probably be the deciding factor.

Tigers faced a rubbish team in humid conditions and got a bunch of points to boost their morale.

What this equates to is...one team will come into this game with an over inflated sense of achievement and underachieve. The other team will come in having fought a tough battle and hungry to get back on the right track. Expect south's to make a statement at the expense of a tigers team that will go no where this season.
