They didn't help- especially when Manly shouldn't have even had the ball for the last set- fair to say they did COST Parra!

Their shoddy defence, poor handling and woeful kicking at goal cost them far more then the reffs did.

Officials make a myriad of errors during the ebb and flow of a game. To call out one incident merely because of it's timing in the game is a bit of a false flag

No disputing it was a high shot. It was the way it was called that is annoying.
I'm pretty sure the refs have the ability to review calls when the ball is grounded and Buhrer disputed that DCE only grounded the ball because he was taken high which was the case.

I don't see why they wouldn't review such a call in the context of the game.

Feel sorry for Parra, they should have won that. But always looked as though Manly would have the class to win it late. DCE is an absolute weapon.

Manly looking disinterested on a hot day.

Wolfman is unreliable when grounding the ball on a kick chase. That bombed try in the first half was woeful.

Love listening to Sterlo commentate Parra games. He tries to conceal it but you can hear the pain. Looking forward to the last minute of the game...

Didn't really notice that, would have to look at it again.

Mentioned on the radio and confirmed again. As I said, the officiating didn't cost them so to speak, but it didn't help. Manly still might have won the game. Just a bit dodgy though. That said can't be more full of praise for Manly, they really are down on troops and they continue to try their best. Thought DCE was average today and they still found a way to win!

Satini also slammed Mannah a couple of times.

Can't say that Manly tried their best today going by what I've seen on TV so far. Despite missing troops we should have accounted for the Eels more easily. I'm relieved to get the two points but they looked a little soft today. Complete contrast to last week where they played very tough.
