Some really bad calls against the tigers who are just not good enough to overcome such things at this stage. Of course injuries and poor defensive plays didn't help either.

Can't really bag the Tigers on that performance, everything went against these Derps today,im sure we can bag them in the following weeks though

Calling Lawrence a slob & a turd after what hes been through coming back from his dislocated hip, an injury doctors likened to a major road accident is pretty fkn low imo

Yeah, hes not up to it anymore...but why abuse him?

Anasta did enough in the first 20 to be well clear of the most useless players on the field today. Not great, but hardly terrible either. Good game by his standards atleast.

Definitely. There were a few moments when Brooks ran, looked, and the support was either too late or nobody was on his shoulder. Massive loss, for the other outside backs as much as Brooks.

On the flip side, as bad as I feel for Ropati, Hurrell owned it today and I doubt he would have come on when he did if not for the injury.

Tigers desperately unlucky today, copped some rough calls and lost a lot of players to injury. In saying that, I feel very good about the Warriors win. Our forwards were good, Johnson played like a proper half and not Benji 2.0 and Konrad Hurrell was massive. The biggest thing to me though, is that right at the end, we didn't give up and let the Tigers have a consolation try. In saying all of that, Tomkins was mostly awful - commence making fun of him, other team supporters.

Tomkins passing was awesome and his try was a ripper. Leuluai took time to adjust last year and ended up being just about our best. He will slaughter later in the year. Glad he's with us.

Those complaining about the Vatuvei try, are you saying the first touch was forward? Dubious imo, but it was sent up as a try so probably fair enough. Definately not a terrible decision that's for sure

After that is was all Tigers until it hit his head which is play on

It went forward from his head - to the ground, thats all that matters - knock on.
If he regathers, play on
Going back from his arm/hand tho his head is irrelevant...he lost control forward

Would be interesting to hear the VR explanation...as per usual with the NRL they bring in these things but they only use it when its clear cut or when they feel like it

When did they change the rules to include knock on's off the head? Serious question, couple years ago it was never called a knock on off the head.

we really cant take a trick with injuries, losing 3 blokes today was diaboical. it made our left side defencea complete basketcase.

well done warriors, made the most of their chances.

Manu's hand >backward> Tiger's arm >forward> Manu's head >forward> Manu grounds it.

If it had gone straight from Manu's hand into his head, then forward... it'd be a knock on. Arsey try but it was legit.

And given it was sent up a try we needed clear cut forward movement from Manu's hand to the Tiger's arm to deny it.
Currently off the head, shoulders or chest isn't a knock on, you could play for the ball, miss it completely have them hit these parts and regather safely. It's silly but legal. Gallen scored a try of Graham's chest last year after missing the ball completely.

To be fair the NSW Cup scored a try to win the game from a PTB after 80 minutes had elapsed as well.

Probably Vichy ball timekeepers who are used to the half not finishing until after a play breaks down etc.

He lost control of the ball...juggled it against his body (head) and it went forward

FMD its not rocket science

No, it hit both his hands.

The ball did a ricochet where it hit Manu's arm, the Tiger's left and right hand then Manu's head. f**ked if you can slow it down/find a frame to conclusively say what order, but it definitely came off a Tiger as well.
