So what do we take out of that game?

It seems like one team played up, willing to play Origin football while the other simply wanted an exhibition. It showed and in the end, it didn't make for the most thrilling game but there were some good to very good performances there that would put some of these players in good stead for future first grade gigs.

In particular I thought the front row formation, Moses & the left edge for NSW were stand-outs.

Difficult to draw too many positives for the Maroons. Couple of gallant efforts but they lacked cohesion and just never built any momentum.
