Media just love to splooge over certain players rather than call what's in front of them. It's never been any different. Did you see the "heroic" catch of a short kick off by Inglis on Saturday night?

It was. To be fair, he played well and was the difference in the end. But they just had to heap praise on him for every little thing he did. Dugan is the player for us the media love to rub one off over.

Huge loss to our season.

How Hiku and Horo come back into that side is beyond me. Hiku can't catch, pass, count or even touch the Cowboys tonight. We will lose a gun like Tom T or Gutherson if we keep him next season. I am no fan of Horo, Burgess, Hodges or Mason. I'm not sold on Mateo and Sao, or even Symonds and Taufua this season. I think re-signing Ballin was probably a mistake. As much as I love Lyon, he is too slow for centre now. Especially with a passenger like Hiku outside him.

We've added some starch already for next season. BJ comes back. Starling will hopefully be better for the run. Tom and Jake will be in the side. Hopefully somebody can teach Taufua to jump and maybe catch, or move him to the 2nd row.

Has Lussick signed? Not a fan, but he may kick on. We lack depth in the backs and halves. We need one more prop or hang onto Mason or Burgess. Perhaps a young or QLD cup 2nd rower.
