The penalty against Glenn was a wrong call and lead to a try, don't know about the Reed offside, the Granville knock on/ six to go looked dodgy as well. I also thought the cows were allowed to slow us down in the ruck.

I don't agree with that, i'm not dirty about the result, Cowboys controlled the ball well which is something our halves need to learn how to do.

JT was responsible for us having to defend set after set, which obviously made it easier for them to score a few tries later in the game. Proud of our effort, a few decisions didn't go our way but you expect that when you travel to another teams home ground.

NQ were just too good and, as I have thought for the last fortnight, should be premiership favourites.

No surprises here.

North Queensland are clearly one of the better teams in the competition and are going awfully close to their maiden premiership. The biggest concern would be their defence in the opening half - there were holes everywhere and they were let off the hook big time by an absolute clanger by Blair who has lost whatever support he had with the fanbase.

Brisbane showed some real commitment in places but some of those tries to the Cowboys were just way too soft and it highlights why many don't rate them as the best team in the competition.

In the end, Cows forwards were too strong and it just gave the Cows spine so much time and space that they eventually had to crack Brisbane.

It's a shame that the next few months are basically silly season where fans have to cross their fingers and hope that their stars come through unscathed. I would say that both teams would be better for this game but who the hell knows where either will be at by July.
