good teams get over time difference..ie; Breakers

The Warriors will spend a few days in Perth to acclimatise to the timezone.

The English soccer teams are doing exactly that right at this minute in Sydney.

Warriors by 6-8 points.

Both are fringe 8 teams tbh.

On paper, we should get home here. But our recent form is against crappy teams and we suck with games with massive time differences.

Souths are better than a fringe top 8 team.

Souths will be pushing towards the top 4 later in the year once we get some important players back in the next 4-6weeks.

Souths could miss the top 4, but they won't be too far away.

I think I'll put some money on half/full double with Warriors lead at halftime but losing the match, as seems to be the case every time they play in Perth.

We're still struggling to close out games in the last 10-20 min at the best of times (last few wins could have just as easily been losses) and the addition of a lengthy travel schedule ain't helping this week!

Hoping McFadden & co can crack the Perth hoodoo though!

Would be a smart bet IMO

Honestly i think its stupid by the warriors to accept our invitation. The only reason why it makes sense is to cater for all the kiwis in Perth.

They flew business class and have been here since weds. No great hardship. Our netball girls do it a number of times a season the other way!

Raining at minute but looks set to clear before KO. Wet ground will suit Souths better. 80% of tickets sold so should be another 20k crowd if rain buggers off.

I don't want to hear anything about how far away Perth is. No excuses.

Souths are going okay in my opinion. When you consider the injuries and that they haven't really found any kind of form but are still winning enough games to stay in touch it's pretty reassuring. If they've got a full squad at the end of the season they'll be as hard to beat as anyone. It's been a shit year for injures. Not just for Souths but a number of clubs.
