Wins the penalty count with some ridiculously soft calls and enough possession to win the game twice.

Blames the refs...

Clearly missing the point here!

The tactics employed are what Bennett has been whinging about for years. Can't beat em join em I guess, or just change your opinion once you have a team capable of executing that style

If you think Brisbane are anywhere close to the ruck slowing, wrestling tactics of Melbourne you're more deluded than I thought.

Despite Slater/Cronk's absence, Melbourne are more than good enough to steamroll anyone with that kind of possession. Absolutely outstanding defense, really thought the Storm were going to sneak over in the last 10.

This.

Here's my two cents...

Brilliant defensive display by the Broncs particularly out wide with Reed leading the way.

Whilst Storm had ample opportunity to win that game a few things stood out...Hampton is not first grade material and got lost in set plays a lot tonight which is not really good enough. He allowed Green and Smith to run the show and this made it easy for the Broncs to defend against.

Bromwich played well but IMO Proctor and Finucane have lost form and offer little in attack on the flanks and this is once again leaving it all to Smith to do.

Munster has potential but he is no Slater and his attacking play is sometimes a bit selfish and he does not look for the likes of Fonua or Kenner which once again limits options.

The Broncos look the real deal...Reed, Milford, Hunt, McCullough and co are leading the way and they will go deep into the finals.

What is doing with Jack Reed the past month or so? He's been excellent.

He's benefiting from the surge in form from Milford.

Since the Panthers game, Milford has been growing in confidence and he's supplying Jack with plenty of room to maneuver.

Reed has never been a bad player. He's always stood up defensively, competed well and come up with good efforts to score. However he's had poor playmakers beside him ever since Locky left and his game has suffered tremendously.

I still think Copley is the better player moving forward but Dale's had little luck with injury and Milford requires Reed's support in defence.

Yeah fair enough, has probably copped more than his fare share of criticism. Looks the goods now, big and strong, very reliable.
