Fire up Souths!!!

This is a very big match and it won't be easy at all.

Should be a very tough battle.

Souths sitting in 5th spot currently looking to get into the top 4 and Penrith looking to get back into the top 8 and gain some momentum.

Obviously no GI for Souths.

Yeah tough game coming up. I wonder if they will go with Olive on the wing, since AJ will probably be fullback..

Keary looked more like the player of last year Friday night when Reyno went off so if he can continue that form Souths attack should real pick up even with no GI. Glen Stewart being back is another big in as his one on one defence is so good mixed with his abort to play almost like a second 5/8.

Didn't catch much of the Penny's this week apart from the last 10 mins so can't comment on them too much. Soward and Wallace both back are big for them.

Think Souths by 8 in this one.

It's a shame Souths don't have a bigger rep showing. Could finally be facing an equally depleted side but have the advantage of our side having more experience in its depleted state.

Just hope Wallace backs up his last game with another good one. Been ready to see him dropped. But if he can do that consistently we might be able to scrape into the top 8 with Soward and him both performing.

Panthers are going to get beaten easily. The tries they scored against a cap tigers defense won't be repeated by souths.

Didn't Souths get towelled up by the Tigers and that 'cap tigers defense' not two weeks ago?

Should be a good tough game. Rabbitohs favourites but should be tight either way.

Good luck Panthers members/supporters who head to the game as at kick off its going to be 7 degrees.

At full time it will be 4 degrees.

Freezing weather.

Kick off isn't until 7:55 or just after either as its the only match on.

All the best for the match Panthers guys I'm sure it will be tough and entertaining.

Really looking forward to this one. Pretty sure we will have the same 17 for 2 weeks in a row. Won't be much in it I think.

Panthers will be really up for this in knowing the next three weeks will be the toughest test that any side will have had all year.

We play to our strengths and keep our structures intact,we will get away with this.

No excuses for not having a purple patch with the players that we have at our disposal.

Hopefully they'll be selling hot chocolate there if I go then!

Doesn't that just say everything about tigers though? Brilliant one weeks, cat shit the next

I think Souths heads have been in it against all the top teams this season just not the cellar dwellers. Not sure where that leaves Penrith. Top 4 last year, struggling this year. Hopefully Souths don't underestimate them

Another danger game for us this week. Really happy we'll have 90% of our best team out there. I think we can get up by around 10 or so.

And we have about 60% of ours in comparison.

The Panthers will be very very hyped up for this one.Historically, during a good season or indifferent, the Panthers strike rate of beating the premiers in the next season is quite impressive.

In all our 47 years, with only two premierships,we have managed to defeat the premiers 23 times in a particular season.

Not too bad with a below avg strike rate in w/l.

In the first two years of our existence,we managed to beat the premiers, during the season next,in both years.
