Shit officiating aside, was a pretty good high quality game I thought.
Refs really make it hard for themselves.

I thought Manly handled Bromwich well and Chambers outclassed Matai all night.
Mason was inspirational for Manly, Cherry Evans and Mateo all class tonight. Good on Cherry though the way he responded to the shit week.

Storm really need to use Koroibete more.

high quality game. amazing how fluent in attack these 2 sides are after just 1 round. defence was good by both sides as well. I think Manly got lucky though...

Here's my two cents...the refs were poor last night but it was a good entertaining game and could have gone either way with the defence of both sides excellent.

Lyon, Mateo and DCE were strong for Manly and Stewart is still a brilliant finisher. Manly took their chances and it paid off.

As for Storm...Chambers, Koroibete and Green were strong but I question the effectiveness of Cronk in these tight games and he needs to start running at the line more rather than chipping it to the wings.
