Titans were solid against Tigers and could very well win this game if they are able to play Bird, Taylor etc.

But without them, they can put up a fight but will likely come up that bit short.

Titans to be better than expected, but hopefully that late Bulldogs surge on Sunday scares the complacency out of the Panthers and they put in a better performance.

If we play like we did last year in Bathurst the tits could spring a surprise, but realistically we should get up by atleast 18

That game in Bathurst last year basically equaled us to lose the Minor Premiership.

We will win this, and we will win this by 30+

The Panthers, who were one of the last 3 teams standing last year, started favourites in two of their last 10 games. One of those was at this infernal Carrington Park, where in the mud and slop, they perished at the hands of the wooden spooners. The other was against the Warriors in the final round.

Could the same thing happen again? Maybe. This game has DANGER written all over it for the Pamfas, but I think they'll come through.

Never know.

Titans scoring first with their only try of the game has a somewhat cute appeal to it.

But when one applies logic in selecting a winner in anything to do with sport, sometimes odds are defied.

This instance does not apply to Gold Coast getting anywhere near Penrith.

In fact, the mindset of the Panthers will be a "tasting blood" one were they will concentrating on playing this game as though we were playing a full strength GC.

The Panthers fully well realise that this will be a golden opportunity to spike up the for/against so as to catch up on those sides which had given other teams a basting from the 1st round.

Simply put,the Panthers only have to play to their patterns and structures, and the points will follow.

You csn bet the GC won't resort to any illegal tactics to unsettle the Panthers.

It's bad enough now with the amount of troupes on the sideline as it is without any more flouting with the judiciary.

Panthers to win comfortably by whatever.

And here hoping the GC can get their players back ASAP.:)

The sort of game Penrith of years gone by would be bound to somehow lose, but the club promises so much now with a strong squad, more of a winning mentality and even much of the team were angry with themselves for going to sleep late against the Bulldogs. Penrith should win this by at least a few tries against a club in turmoil and short on troops.

Always worried when we are the favourites... We seem to lose these games more often than not...

I'll optimistically say Panthers by 7
