Game was pretty good even though the Tigers had f**k all in attack. Taupau delivered, leaving Tyrell concussed probably his best work for the day.

LMFAO at the Walker claims. It's as bad as the hype Brooks and Moses get. He's the Mitchell Pearce or Kurt Gidley of centres. Solid club player who looks great against shit centres, but not good enough to translate that into rep games.

He may get there one day, but until he plays well for NSW or Australia he can't be anywhere near the best centres.

Love how the commentators say Souths have played like shit. Tigers haven't played so crash hot either, 17 errors? Souths this Souths that....

I'm stoked on the Tigers competitiveness and defensive effort. On the attack though yikes. This Brooks/Moses/Tedesco combination has a ways to go. You see last week when it clicks it's good but in that first half they put nothing together and in the second half they went away from the structure entirely.

Considering the possession and completions, and where we rate compared to Souths I'd say a 14 point loss is good. We'd have lost that game by 50 last year. Maybe Souths weren't at their best but the Tigers defensive starch went a long way to causing it.

Maguire the new supercoach, transformed Wigan into a machine then even more impressively Souths especially since it looked like an brutally difficult job when he took it but now they're a dominant team.

Maybe...

Brooks has gone backwards since this time last year.

Moses did nothing.

I'll excuse Teddy one below par game..

Tigers have a good pack and zero attack. Their halves offered nothing.

Good to see Souths get past a Joel Reddy special and career worst performance from the Burgii to tough out a solid win.

Tigers depth is just not enough to compete this season. There were moments their attack looked ok, especially early on, but from the 30th minute or so onwards they were ordinary. Tedesco had a stinker.

Souths were also pretty bad, by their standed, but still very slick close to the line with a few of their moves. Keary was very quiet for them I thought.

I agree, we needed to put 2-3 more tries on early in the game when we had the momentum, but we kept dropping the ball. Still, 2-1 to start the season, no key injuries yet, and plenty to grow on.

Remember this was only the third game that the Brooks/Moses/Tedesco trio has played together, Brooks and Moses are still learning Tedesco's game. They're creating space on the edges, they just need that final pass to stick a little better, which will come. It's easily the most exciting 1/6/7 combo we've had since Hodgson/Marshall/Prince.

Did Ingli$ get man of the match due to some quality whinging.
If he put as much effort into his game as he did whinging to the ref $ouff$ would win every game by 50.

Gotta laugh at $ouff$ fans complaining about Tigers niggling and being dirty, $ouff$s write the newest chapter on it.
