Cheats. Only one word to describe that performance from Brisbane.

In all seriousness one player that I've been really impressed with for Brisbane is Kahu. Nothing flashy but seems extremely safe. What's the plan when Boyd comes back? Is he going to get pushed out? I imagine he'd get a bit of interest elsewhere if that's the case.

Bennett still wants him. I think he is being seen more and more as possibly Hodges replacement or even Gagai's centre partner in the future if we get Gagai.

the classy utility on Sunday saved the Broncos for the second time in three weeks.
Fullback Kahu personified the courage of Brisbane?s 24-16 defeat of the Warriors, producing another matchwinning play to break the hearts of 14,679 fans at Mt Smart Stadium.

The Broncos were clinging to an 18-16 lead with two minutes remaining when hulking Warriors centre Solomone Kata received the ball 10 metres from Brisbane?s tryline.
The crowd roared as one. The 97kg beast was one-on-one with Kahu. Goodnight Broncos. He surely was unstoppable from here ... but Kahu produced a heroic crunching shot to halt Kata, whose desperate offload was quickly shut down by the Broncos.
The tackle was the difference between victory and failure, just as it was a fortnight ago, when Kahu hammered Sharks monster Jayson Bukuya on his tryline to seal Brisbane?s 10-2 triumph.

Kahu will make way for star recruit Darius Boyd when he returns in May from an achilles injury, but Bennett assured the off-contract 24-year-old he will not be lost to the Broncos.
?Of course he has a future with us, he will be here,? Bennett said of Kahu.
?He?s a very brave player and he?s playing with a bit of confidence.
?His demons are behind him and we can all move on with him. Jordan is a good player, I like coaching him, he?s very easy to coach.?
It is testimony to Kahu?s fighting spirit that he is still playing NRL. There is the scar tissue of knee two reconstructions. Last year, he almost suffered a third, only to find a silver lining in a less serious knee injury that convinced him to make every post a winner.
Kahu was equally prominent in attack on Sunday, chiming into the backline to throw the final pass for Lachlan Maranta?s try, which gave Brisbane a flying 10-0 start.
?Jordy has been really good for us,? halfback Ben Hunt said. ?He has been one of our best players in attack and defence and he again came up with a big play at the end.?
