Damn how much dropped ball in that game, teams will need to pick it up next week or they'll both lose, parra unlucky with the dud call, turned the momentum towards tigers, still, I think tigers would have won either way they were looking the most likely between the two and just ran away with it in the last 10mins, shame about the first 70min of the game

Can't ever remember being so disappointed after a win by the Tigers. We were woeful, Parramatta worse.

I think the refs are responsible for that to a degree. Both sides played spoiling tactics in the rucks and were up inside the 10 the entire match yet the refs failed to take action.

Very disappointing.

Shit reffing, tigers get their drop out overturned but the Eels are denied a scrum against the feed win that was legit and don't get a "knock on" that was clearly not a knock on overturned when the game was in the balance on the eels own line, despite who deserved to win or not. That's two incorrect game changing, momentum-shifting calls that are clear as day to everyone else but the NRL and in a tight, possession based wet weather football game that makes the difference.

The Eels played shit, the tigers played shit, the standard of the product is terrible.

In fact, Tigers awarded 2 penalties in the second half one of which was for an 8 point try.

Poor call on that Farah drop but it's pretty likely Parra would have just dropped the ball a tackle or two later anyway.

I like how Woods just lays ontop of a tackled player and makes no attempt to get off, but because he puts one hand up like he is complaining about something the ref is too confused to realise he is holding down

Ref knocked the ball on nearly every set in the second half did he?

both teams played equally sh!t, noone denies that

BUT a call that was 100% clear as f**king day wrong, which was shown on the reply, that the refs completely refused to acknowledge, that then a play later led to a try putting the Eels completely out of the game, absolutely played a part

But hey, my bad, the refs had a great game, and the rules the nrl has where the refs pick and chose what decisions to change are awesome

I think this is becoming a common and annoying tactic throughout the league actually.

So parras sole try which they got after being awarded a penalty for a 'swinging arm' which contacted the chest of a player and didn't creep up, we're just forgetting that hey?

the refs certainly have a lot to answer for when shit games like this are played.

Anyone would think they were playing in tropical rain conditions.

the ruck and 10 metres was open slather and it didn't suit either team. Tigers the better team by a mile but with so many injuries and suspensions its hard to criticise Parramatta too harshly.

I just can't believe how far Orgazmo has fallen. I know he spent two years on his Mormon mission but he looks so cumbersome.

They would have been better off throwing 1.2million a year at RTS instead of Foran!

So a call against the eels with 4 mins to go, 1m out from their line, when they were down by 4, cost them the game.

Right

The point here is the total lack of consistency by refs and video refs , far out no one minds errors just be freakin consistent ! video refs have overruled scrum feeds already this season and the video ref had several looks at it today and it was blindingly obvious watmough never touched it , overrule you dumb ref.

parra were hopeless though and probably would not have won anyway but they were denied the chance to at least have another play.at them.

Honestly, it seemed like Parra were happy to win the game 6-4, and the Tigers were waiting till late in the half to make their move. That said, neither team really gave the opposition a chance. The Watmough knock on about 63 minutes in was the first error of the second half, and the 8 point try was the first penalty. Maybe if there was some errors a little earlier the game would have come alive then, but it certainly wasn't the prettiest game you'll ever see.
