Wests Tigers have some of the worst crowds in the NRL and like the lowest membership numbers,no way in hell do these little minions deserve to have a 40k-50k crowd on there resume, this matchup should be a Eels home game every year.

Average crowd as per wikipedia
Tigers Eels
2014 13104 18788 (with the benefit of the 50,000 crowd)
2013 11452 12456
2012 16227 16803
2011 17852 15066
2010 18086 17080
2009 17943 13126

It would appear that the tigers average roughly the same as Parra. Game should be shared year to year.

Pretty sure over the last 10 years we're second highest Sydney average crowds, pretty good considering we only made the finals for 3 of those season.

I'm liking what Wests are offering these days. They are a work in progress, but if it comes together sooner rather than later, they could be the smokie for a top 4 spot.

If the injuries are kind in hopeful we'll be in the mix for a top 8 spot, can't see much more then that this year. For that to happen these are the types of games we need to win IMO. Against a team we'll probably be competing with for those bottom 8 spots who are missing a few of their starting 13.

At the game now, I know it's an hour before kick off but I reckon there's about 7k here ATM. Very dark skies overhead, doubt the crowd will get near lasts years.

Promises to be a cracker of a game! Both teams play a really ad hoc style of footy. If Parra play like they did against Souths they should win. Can see it going either way. I'm gonna cheer for Parra but mostly hope it's a good game.

It's pissing down rain out here, don't know what's happening out at Homebush. If it's raining it will take a bit take a bit of spark out of the game.

Crowd on tv actually looks worse than it did on Friday at the end of the 20s game. Barely looks like 10k. Again people will come late with the show next door but think it's gonna struggle to get 40k

Now it's sunny after half an hour ago looking like the world was going to end, still a bit of rain around though.
