Refs doing well at robbing cowboys here, how come rabbitohs weren't down 1 man (for 10min) for the professional foul stopping the try earlier in the half from a offside position also?

Harrigan is essentially rugby league's version of AIDS. Surfaced in the 80s and no one really knew what it was, became huge in the 90s, and now 30 years on we are still feeling the effects.

If he thinks its the right call, you can pretty well guarantee it was wrong

Bravo

I love how the refs are incompetent yet somehow capable of pulling of a large-scale systematic cheating scandal. They must be geniuses.

I also love how Souths get all the decisions yet have only won 1 penalty count this year.

winning or losing a penalty count doesn't mean shit, it's when and where you get the penalties

I watched Souffs get 3 penalties when trying to get out of their own end early in the first half, any team in the comp would accept that

You people are criticizing me just because it is me but the ref, the video ref and Bill Harrigan all think the same way I do. The level of contact is irrelvant. It wasn't no try because Stewart made it look heavy. But it was a penalty because Stewart couldn't get to where he needed to be.

I know it's essentially like arguing with a cicada, but Stewart wasn't impeded. He was beaten, he was done, he made a defensive error, ran into a player who had every right to be where he was, took a spectacular dive and the referees fell for it. Harrigan didn't know the rules when he was an active referee, why would he now?

Lowe did everything right, it was a try, and it was inept refereeing that decided otherwise, nothing else
