i voted for souths but i don't understand why they are $1.57 favourites to win this game when they haven't played well since round 2 and st.george illawarra are equal first on the ladder

I'd say it should be even, $1.90 each.

I expect a close match, maybe only a couple of points in it.

Update: NYC game won't be played Monday at ANZ to protect the surface ahead of Origin/Tottenham/Chelsea and after the heavy rain.

Instead it'll be played Saturday 1:30pm at Redfern.
