Matty Scott pain free and getting a significant % more out of his lifts and strength work is a scary thought. Pending the lineup but would love to see Hess have a crack at a sizeable sharks pack

have a feeling the cowboys will rack up a score here. sharks outside back defence was easily exploited by the tigers and the cowboys will be 10 times more dangerous. NQ by 22

Going to take a while for the new halves and backs to gel imo... Left edge better be sorted by kick off. Moneys on the Cows for this one.

I'm sure we will be looking for revenge after the flogging in the finals last year.

That might just be enough incentive for us to get a win.

Anyway, it's round 1 & anything can (& does) happen. I'll be happy if we escape injury free & then go forward from there, starting with the Dragons Rd 2.

The Sharks have the squad to mount a challenge this year, if Barba can rediscover some of his old form, Bird avoids second year blues (easier to do that at centre), and the squad can gel. And someone can convince Paul Gallen to concentrate on running and tackling hard and to stay the f**k out of their attacking plays.

Surely Cowboys will want to change their last 2 years of shit starts. Will be a good game.
