Coaching the Panthers seems to be like managing a crumbling dam wall. You plug one hole, another appears somewhere else. Last game, they rectified their formerly suspect goal line defence quite admirably, only to have serious issues with ball security in the final quarter of the game after they;d built a comfortable buffer.

The Warriors dusted the Dragons quite comfortably last game but this is a much tougher assignment. They may be playing in New Zealand and I suppose will get the crowd support, but they are a long way from Auckland.

In this game, one side has been completely unpredictable, the other extremely steady. Steadier than any other team in the history of the premiership if win/lose margins are any guide.

Panthers are settled, and the Warriors appear to be in disarray. Panthers will win I believe.

This could go either way. Both sides are pretty hard to read at this point given their last few weeks. I'm still not sure how the Warriors will turn up, and hopefully they can build on the Dragons game. They weren't impressive, but showed plenty of heart, which is very new for the Warriors.

In saying that though, Panthers by 6. Purely because they're more consistent.

Waqa Blake has been dropped to NSW Cup. Can only imagine that means Peachey will play centre. Considering he was just finding his feet in first grade and had been low on errors it's a bit shocking we would drop him with Dean Whare out also.

Couldn't be his defence that had him dropped. He was well and truly ahead of Hiku in defence

Would be happy with Peachey at centre. Can still do a lot of damage from there, but Segeyaro/Peachey up the middle has caused the Warriors plenty of problems in the past and I'm happy for the Panthers to try something different.

Not that I have any faith in our edge defense, but meh, something different.

I still dont get why the panthers are favourites tbh. We bet the dragon a fortnight ago with a reserve grade side now welcome back matulino, thompson, lolohea and possibly mannering/vatuvei. Plus the Panthers havent been all that flash this year, and the games in nz.

$2:40 looks tempting actually.

Heard on Radio Sport that it sold out so gotta be good for The Warriors. Should be a good game and i'm hoping Warriors do win for my multi though that's still a good Penrith side on paper. Flip the coin type game I think.

Highly unlikely that big Manu will play, he said himself this week that his head is not in the game right now.

I'm a Warrior fan and I think those off the field issues won't bug the Warrior today at all.

The Panthers should take this one though.

Blake went over to Christchurch with the squad I presume, so if he's playing NSW Cup, which kicks off an hour before first grade, but in Penrith, he would have had to have been sent home yesterday.

Something fishy about this. Or maybe his hip injury isn't 100%.

You will find Penrith at a neutral venue much tougher than the Dragons at Mt Smart. Maybe the Warriors effort before the Dragons hasn't been forgotten. $2,40 does seem tempting if you are a betting person, though.

So the legal radio feed I use is down. The TV is not an option on cost basis.

Help?

The riff were very unlucky to not beat Sharks and Cows, add those wins in and they would be pushing for top 4 atm

They are a very good side whilst Warriors are inconsistent

9 matches and Panthers were in position to win every single match with a couple minutes to go. They are a consistent team who seem odds on to show up and try Warriors are very inconsistent and not reliable to play 80 minutes.

They could win 13+ if they play their bst footy. Panthers worst performances this year they still were in the game though. While Warriors worst performances they weren't even close to in the match.

They can definitely win. But who would comfortably put their money on them?
