Tigers even without Tedesco are decent odds here at $4 with the Doggies to really miss Hopoate (can't believe I'm saying that now). Dogs to scrape home by 2

Don't see how Dogs are hot favourites here , average at the best of times this season however I'd rather see us start heavy outsiders (see vs Souths) then blow teams off the park. Not that I'm expecting the same thing here...

Expecting about 3 positional changes in the backline to accomodate the Tedesco loss (hopefully the right changes aswell)

Also Tigers will most likely have Woods and Grant back, add in E.T + Ava, Sue etc and our forward pack isn't looking too Shabby

Tigers have always troubled the dogs and regularly upset them over the years. Dogs will have their 3rd choice fullback and Tigers will be back to full strength minus Teddy (who admittedly is a massive loss).

If our forwards play as well as they did against souths (plus adding woods and grant) I think our backs have more points in them.

Tigers by 8

You'd have to expect Wests to give Taylor a run off the bench, even though they may not name him as he won't have run with the side yet. Could be just what is needed to stiffen up the defence. Still, this is a pretty big ask.

Agree. He would've only just trained with the players for the first time today, would be kinda weird to jump straight into the starting 13. Bench for first game, then start the next imo

My only worry with this game is that Brooks will be trying to impress Des so he gets signed. I expect him to have a big game. Still Tigers can't tackle.

Yes. I know all you Tigers fans are down on Brooks. So I think we just trade Reynolds for Brooks and everybody is happy.

Josh played juniors in the touch comp I used to play in. He was like 14/15 and would hang around when the seniors played trying to fill in if teams had someone out. Once he played for my team. He made a 2 on 1 and passed to me on the wing for an easy try except I dropped the ball cold.

Great story that one.
