My personal boycott on giving anything to do with Brisbane ratings points worked out well tonight. NITV (ch34) had Chapelle's Show ... Tyrone Biggums > Brisbane.

Who's the main caller? Nice changed from the Rabbs/Gus show

Cant be f**ked reading through the rest of this thread so someone might have answered this already. It is Mat Thompson. He commentates the Sunday Qld Cup games.

Warriors hung on well for the first half at least, biggest turning point was that ball that went dead and somehow three Broncos didn't manage to touch it.

2 weeks in a row we have been garbage, but never really felt like losing.

If they want to speed up the game, they should put a shot clock on Boyd's play the ball. Minutes could be saved.

Can't win a comp in March. Win is a win, get on with it, move on.

Pretty pleased with that win. Defended well, hung in there in the grind for the 40-60 min mark, and just had too much for them. Warriors just had nothing in attack.

Hopefully Oats isnt out for too long. He's a f**king machine.

It was about 2-3 metres forward you f**kwit.

He threw it on the 10m line and he caught it about 7m out.

I'm not arguing about the forward pass (I think it was forward out of the hands), but comments like this I blame on the commentators saying things like "it floated forward". Most long passes will float forward even if backwards out of the hands. It's very misleading to the general viewer and one of my pet hates.

Warriors were unlucky to have two backs go off injured as that would surely hurt any team's interchange plans.

In attack they reminded me a bit of the Eels last week - new combination of 1/7/9 so they will take a few weeks to gel. If they can continue to complete sets as well as they did last night they will score a few points later this year.

A forward pass should be like a knock on, ie if it travels towards the opposition dead ball line, it is forward. If you are running downfield you have to allow for it. If it's windy you play accordingly.

You know what you are suggesting is practically impossible right?
