Nah the Checcin stuffed it in the way he explained it. He thought it was a try as he thought Parra touched the ball making it going forward. Parra didn't touch it meaning the ball was thrown forward which is what the on fields originally thought.

Not sure how everyone missed it, but Cecchin clarified to the bunker straight away and said that his touch judge has called a forward pass, which he didn't hear until after he had made the initial call.
