I actually thought Manly played well given the circumstances, it was 16-0 after 15 minutes or something like that, to hold them scoreless for the remaining 65 minutes shows that the team has character and for that you must give credit to their coach

Also their kicking game was a shambles, so all in all Manly would be happy with the way they competed, just not the result

he is a good running half and can throw a good pass, especially a well timed short ball, but he doesn't have a dominate kicking game like reynolds, and keary's defense bad at times, like we saw tonight when dylan walker ran through him to score a try

Good running half...good pass. That is pushing it to say the absolute least. Can't pass, mind you it is a common theme across the whole NRL, most halves pass the ball behind blokes all day long. It is frankly poor coaching. Half the reason the Cowboys and Brisbane are up there is that the halves pass in front of the player so you run onto the ball.

Cody Walker is a better half, so put him at 5/8 with Reynolds. Perhaps use Keary off the bench in some role.

The refing was disgraceful.

Even Madge wasn't happy about it in his press conference. He said with all the technology and the bunker that they have to get the message to the on field refs. He said it's not good enough.

He also said there were weird penalties against us for being offside.

They were weird as Manly were offside all night too. Only refing one team they were.

Starling knocked on, Parcell offside inside 10metres and GI obstructed by the ref when Koroisau scored.


In years I haven't heard Madge speak up about the refs so the refing was terrible for Madge to speak up.
