The Sims brothers impressed me today.

I hope they carry that form for the rest of the season. That's the type of footy I expected from them when they were coming through the Broncos system. If they can continue, it will be like a throwback to the early days of the Knights. Back when they didn't have the all-star backline and relied on the physicality of their forwards.

Good stuff Newcastle.

So turns out the two ball incident decided the game.

Tigers robbed.

what was he meant to do??? he was running his fastest and the ball was right in his way. it would have been too hard for him to kick it in a different direction when he was running at full speed, and he shouldn't have to run around it either. the ref got it right

In all fairness Korbin has been playing at this current level for a couple of seasons now - I think his form/quality (understandably) just hasn't been noticed because up until recently he's been playing as part of a pack that was getting smashed most weeks. He's a very good player - just handicapped slightly by his size (or lack there of).

Tariq is another kettle of fish. Hasn't really regained his form since those horrific injuries he sustained a few years ago + he's usually out suspended. Good signs today though - it was good to have him back. Hopefully he doesn't get suspended again right away.

Hilarious game. Expected it to finish like the Storm game but I'm glad they held on for a change.

Undefeated at home. :sarcasm:

Tigers looked great this year until that oxygen thief Farah came back into the side...
Lol I did enjoy when he tripped over a.Knights player who had cleared the ruck and Farah proceeded to roll around like a baby for 3 seconds. The Knights just hung back like uhhh WTF is going on?

Aye and I've seen Korbin have better games, but there haven't been too many times where both brothers have stepped up and really taken the game head on. When the game was there to be decided, both of them came to the fore and bashed the Tigers out of the game.

I just hope it's a sign of things to come.

I reckon she is butt ugly. Dont understand how people rate her. Maybe they have fug ugly wives or something

I doubt very much that Yvonne is there as eye candy anyway, and being allowed to appear on-air with her hair a mess demonstrates it. Maybe it was windy in Newcastle?

I think she is there to attract women to the game and to Nein's coverage, not men. If they wanted eye candy they could be scouring the cheerleading squads for someone who scrubs up on air and can talk a bit.

Yvonne is a fairly everyday looking lass in her late 20's who plays the game and thus understands it, she talks well and has rapport with players. Her looks are not threatening to other women. She isn't there for people (men) to rate as to her looks or beddability.
