Storm player offside from a quick tap, no penalty. Warriors player gives a penalty away on halfway, instant sin bin.

Sounds about right.

Defense is pathetic enough without having 12 on the field.

I'm starting to get over Luke, that was the most half-arsed tackle attempt you'll ever see

On another note good to see Mannering give them a rightful spray, if he's pissed that's saying something

I appreciate that Johnson is trying to calm things down and get through Ayshford's time in the bin but I am not sure kicking for territory is the right play at the moment.

Was thinking exactly the same, our only hope is he and the gang just going for broke on attack

Notice how there has been no replay. It was a shocker. The furthest thing from a professional foul I've seen. Unless he bit him or shoved his finger up his clacker. Maybe that's why they're not showing it...

For those complaing about Finucane not getting the bin, I decided to go back and double check. Penalty and tap taken on about the 27m mark, the tackle happened on the 17m mark.
So Luke got his 10m and was fair game, there wasn't much in it though. Hopefully they will replay later as well.

I don't think many league fans will disagree with it, problem is it'll happen another 50 times this season and it won't go to the bin again.

Agreed, and that's why it happens so often - no consequences.

It's an almost certain try if you don't hold down. If you do, sometimes you won't concede a penalty at all, more likely though you'll be penalised but you will give your defensive line time to get set and have a much better chance at stopping the try.

Without the sin bin deterrent, players will hold down every time.

Honestly, as much as the refs are pissing me off right now, we deserve to be 20 down

Wow, Melbourne again score with a player down in back play.

Probably not a difference maker in the course of the game, sounds like Warriors are just getting hammered, but seems inconsistent with what generally happens.

f**king refs in this game, unbelievable. I get that the warriors are playing shit but the refs are having a dead set shocking.

There was a replay directly after that clearly showed Ayshford holding down.

No idea what you're on about to be honest.

Center off the field, full back down in back play. If Melbourne didn't score then they might as well give it away.
