I was reading my local shitty newspaper today, and read the following from the Launceston Examiner:

The headlines read in big writting

ALLEGED RAPE VITIM `DEVISTATED BY REPORTS`

SOCCER SEX CONSENSUAL" lol......

it goes on to read:


London- The victim of an alleged gang rape involving Premiership soccer stars was said to be devistated by the version of events given by a football party fixer over the weekend.

Nicholas Meikle, who claims to socialise with severa famous Premiership players, gave the NEWS OF THE WORLD, a detailed testimony of the night of the alleged assault.

I`m not going to type out the whole thing but it later went on to say....

Earlier, Scotland Yard said it was "not prepared to discuss" the claim or comment whether Mr.Meikle was under investigation.

The alleged victim has told police she agreed to have sex with one Premiership player and was then attacked by up to seven others in room 316 at the Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane on september 27th. Police are also examining CCTV images.

We havent heard much more about it since then, so I doubt if it is true.

We're not going to hear anything significant for quite a while. Everything is now being handled by the police and the courts, and they will make sure (and rightly so) that no names are confirmed and no other evidence will be released to the media. The most that will come out is what they are doing to discover the truth, the evidence itself that they uncover will not be released.

Nothing will happen to the players questioned until the courts decide whether they are guilty or not. And as that will likely take months if not years, don't hold your breathe.

They have already started to arrest them a 29 yr old was arrrested in relation to this matter as reported on english radio minutes ago.

I was told a pretty significant rumor in relation to the matter with 7 specific names, surfice to say it would be wrong to mention them publicly.

But there were three games in London that weekend, and the club which the players come from is not a london club, and their super star is not one of the names in question.
