More & more this is becoming obvious. Peter V runs game for profit. Perth & Nz 2 will cost money & if they become established after a decade or so they not greatly adding to revenue cause both places relative small. All risk no reward. Joint east tigers / jets bid automatically financially assured, but wrestles important western corridor from afl which is moving in. TV & streaming value Brisbane over every place else too. If north Ipswich reserve gets stadium as part of Olympics its fait accompli

They can & they will. Western Corridor already talked about as important battleground.

lol no. Dolphins will need time to establish themselves as an NRL club. Broncos and Titans would also be strongly against a 4th SEQLD team.

Gold coast & dolphins nowhere near western corridor.
Broncos allowed dolphins to set up in even more populous area of the city. Everybody here telling me Broncos happy dolphins based outside of cbd, but same ppl think broncos will oppose Ipswich - Toowoomba.
I was right about dolphins years before it happened - I'm right about this

it's funny the people who say that "Dots on a map" isn't a good strategy for expansion but then apply the same dots on a map idea to a much smaller area in SEQLD. The whole region is connected, the Titans were opposed to the Dolphins coming in even though they are far opposite sides on the Brisbane river. Wherever you put a team in SEQLD it is still a drain on local talent and sponsors.

come on why wouldnt you ignore a city with no club and 2.3million people for an area with 10% of that population and 2 clubs playing on the doorstep?
It makes total sense, in Pippens head lol

Lol, ppl like you for years were saying same thing about 2nd Brisbane & that gold coast filled that role. Se qld is hot league market. Once sustained entire competition.
